Individual Conservatories and Orangeries

From your own perspective
The vision for your new project is created from your mind's eye. It reflects you and your lifestyle, an expression of the individual character of your home. We aim to embrace that vision and add our skills to develop an original and perfectly integrated addition to your property.

A conservatory in keeping with your home
Each of our conservatories and orangeries is individually designed and constructed to be sympathetic to the architecture of your house and the arrangement of your garden. Our knowledgeable and innovative designers will ensure your new conservatory or orangery blends effortlessly with the existing features of your home.

A context-led approach to design
Whatever the setting of your home, whether its architecture is listed or contemporary, our designers are experienced at creating inspired and unique solutions to complement a wide range of design-focused styles.

Sliding/Folding Doors
A popular feature is to bring the "outside in" by way of opening the back of your house. As part of our design, manufacture, and installation service, we produce folding/sliding doors using Utile hardwood and double-glazed sealed units to meet the highest specifications. Flush mounted drop bolts secure the doors firmly into place, while allowing fingertip control to open some or all of the doors.
Our video within this website shows you the effortlessness needed to operate this type of door.

Integrating your home and garden
Whatever season we find ourselves in, a conservatory or orangery will cushion the threshold between house and garden and bring the benefits of natural light and garden views into the heart of your home. We are experienced in ensuring your new build is sympathetically designed and constructed to work in harmony with the features and layout of your garden for your enjoyment all year round.

Extending your living area
A well-planned addition has the capacity to change the way you use the expanse of your home. It can link previously separated areas such as a kitchen or dining room to become the heart of your home. Alternatively, it can provide an undisturbed place removed from the hustle and bustle of family life.

The orangery glasshouse
Orangery type glasshouses were originally developed for the cultivation of orange trees in the cooler British climate. This is generally a substantial extension combining solid walls with a glazed roof. It provides an interesting alternative to a conservatory.

Roof Lanterns
An inset roof lantern can improve natural light and is an opportunity to introduce low voltage lighting.

Conservatories in urban settings
Sometimes space, especially in our cities, is at a premium, both inside and out. We are knowledgeable in designing and constructing conservatories and orangeries on confined urban sites. We will make sure that you maximise the benefit of your garden, courtyard, or terrace.

A mindful use of colours
Not all conservatories are white! Many of our projects have carefully employed colour to form a delicate palette to combine with their surroundings. Others have used natural finishes to great effect.

Creating a room with a garden view
A conservatory creates the opportunity to frame views of your garden, as well as delivering a place in your home to relax and admire the view in all seasons. From first design drawings to planning and construction, we offer you a full and completely individual service to create your new room with a view.

Superior quality materials and exemplary workmanship
All our conservatories and orangeries are bespoke, carefully constructed by our skilled craftsmen using the best quality materials and traditional methods. Your conservatory will be given individual attention and our quality control will ensure a perfect finish. On-site installation is carried out by our expert team. Your joinery will be delivered with three coats of paint; after installation our fitters will give this a finishing brush-applied coat and will only hand over the project once it is cleaned from top to bottom.

Your conservatory will be in use all year round and we understand the significance of creating a pleasant environment for all seasons. Our designers incorporate features such as roof ventilators and underfloor heating to make certain your conservatory is cool and airy during the summer months and warm and snug in winter. The use of argon-filled Planitherm One soft coat double glazed sealed units ensures insulation to meet the most recent building regulations.
